Still Becoming

Spring and butterflies are made for each other!  And since it's feeling pretty springy around here, I just had to use the new I'll Fly Away cut file on my layout for today.  I love that there are so many options with this cut file, and I decided to cut it and then place the butterflies on my background paper, using pop dots to add dimension.

I thought the Life in Color collection from Simple Stories would be great for this layout, because of all of the fun colors.  I cut the I'll Fly Away cut file from one of the striped patterns in the collection.  After the butterflies were cut, I layered the negative patterned paper over my White cardstock and used it as a template for adding my butterflies back in place.  For the title, I used the Silhouette Cameo sketch pens to draw the words and then stitched over them with different colored embroidery floss.

There are also two other awesome new sets that are available in The Cut Shoppe today!  Here's a look at all of this week's new cut files!
